When I participated in last year's BB, I was extremely lucky to work with the lovely st_salieri. We got along so well from day one, and I would have been genuinely happy if my author this year was half as awesome as her. Since we knew we were both participating again this year, we took every precaution to make sure I had no idea which summary was hers when artist claims took place. As unbelievable as it sounds, I ended up picking hers anyway, and here we are now. I hope you all have enjoyed our second collaboration.
As for the art itself, I don't want to go into specifics because that would spoil the fic, but I'll say that drawing inspiration from this story wasn't hard at all. There were so many elements to choose from, and I tried to incorporate as many as possible in the trailer and the graphics without giving too much away. Hopefully I was able to capture the overall feel of the fic in the pieces you see above. :)
I'd like to thank the spn_j2_bigbang mods, wendy and thehighwaywoman. All the work both of you put into organizing this challenge is truly appreciated, and I couldn't be happier I got to be a part of this again.
Finally, a HUGE thank you to my dear author and friend, st_salieri. Once again, you made this experience totally worth it, not only because your story is every bit as amazing as I hoped it would be, but also because you're a joy to work with. You were always so encouraging and enthusiastic about my ideas, and I love you for putting up with my neurotic self every step of the way. Thank you so much for making my second BB every bit as fun as the first -- you're the best. ♥
